• You've found James Curtis. I reside in the Greater Nashville, Tennessee area.
• I've been deeply embedded in the Internet since my dad got our first PC,an IBM 386 in 1992.
• I've considered myself mostly an Ecommerce, web development, and business professional for the last 10 years.
• However, my skillset is wide with a depth of expertise in many of those areas.
• You could say my experience pre-dates my career:
  • Various Geocities and members.aol.com era websites
  • Webmastering my church's website in the late 90s
  • Helping my dad launch a sort of Priceline for Golf Tee Times in the early 2000s.
• I employ a comprehensive approach to Ecommerce.
• I rely on my abilities as a high functioning individual contribubtor to inform my overall strategic decisionmaking.
• This broad approach extends to all areas of a business. Operations, marketing (4Ps), design, technology, innovation, resource management, and so on are all necessary pillars.
• My education is in Business and Entrepreneurship, and still have a passion for startups.
• I co-founded a film crew in high school (back when simply syncing music to our camcorder footage was mindblowing). We remained active until the early 2010s.
• We were reasonably successful for our time, including winning student Emmy's, a Telly award, and numerous other awards.
• A handful of my favorite hobbies are:
  • writing
  • playing and recording music
  • Boomer-tier late 1990s PC games (Quake and Asheron's Call)
  • coding
  • learning new technologies
  • and playing basketball (still beating father time, thus far).
• Though, I spend most of my time with my beautiful wife and children, or working on personal projects and side gigs.
• I plan on building and maintaining this website out over time. Including more work in my portfolio to showcase different areas of expertise, personal projects, and probably some demo work to pair with writing
